Elizabeth Rose Murray
pensive
Low slung stars glinting
Naked on two sleeping lovers
The sun: dead for hours.
riverside
White sun lost behind clouds
A breeze against your upturned cuffs

Bright red petals fall
From stem to stone floors cracked
Where your sad heart rests.
