in defense we carry potions
Peter Schwartz
there's always some beneath to consider
portions of an apology never complete
pieces of rain not raindrops;
orphans - midway -
mercifully invisible
yet caught - in the crosshair
of mutations -
- inextinguishable -
- indistinguishable as the amnesiac's
horoscope, a fan
of temporary vouchers
complete with timepieces
jinxes and encryptions -
funeral-like
it fits
- blind -
as sugar
mixed with ashes from mars
- inextinguishable -
so,
in defense we carry potions
rain not raindrops
to deal with slow
giants with
the almost always happening
of any placebo
town
- blind -
as snow
